Seneca Park Zoo is smaller sized which makes it perfect for families with young children. Don't let the first building, which is very oldschool and as I understand soon to be replaced, scare you away. The rest of the zoo has very modern nice looking...More

Very surprised at the quality of this zoo. It's newer and really beautiful. I always suggest bringing your lunch to any outing. This zoo is walker friendly. You won't feel terrible the next day if your not exactly in shape. Lots of space for strollers...More

The animals are so close! What a neat little spot. We have a zoo pass to another zoo and they are partners- you get 50% off admission! A great experience!

The penguins were great! I had a wonderful time with my boyfriend at the zoo. Definitely more geared toward children and families but I would return. The tiger was pretty cool to see. Unfortunately the otters weren't around but would love to see them!

I am from Chicago which has a bigger zoo, but even then, I would criticize both city's zoos for trying to be too educational. (I am a middle school teacher, by the way) the place is one big commercial for conservation, and although I am...More

I love this zoo. It's not huge but it has enough to see to keep you happy. The volunteer docents are usually around and happy to answer any questions you might have. There are alligators there during the summer to see. Four African elephants year...More

A nice walk through a well maintained property. Wasn't too crowded although we went on a week day. A good variety of kids favourite animals. Animals were alive and active. Several caregivers could be seen caring to animals, great to see the animals well cared...More

I went with a small group of seniors. We all enjoyed ourselves. Seneca is a nice city zoo with a fair amount of animals. Very pretty setting with lots of shade. The café is OK , but you can bring your own food to eat...More

It's not a huge place - in fact, that's part of what makes it work so well for families with children. Plenty to see, but not so much as to overwhelm or exhaust! We loved the simple layout and creative use of spaces - having...More

I remember there were a lot of indoor facilities. Though we've never been there in Winter, I can imagine it would be a nice trip in the winter to see the indoor displays and animals.
