this is a great area to see. Sledding in winter, hiking in warmer and colder snow weather. Historical old fort. Creek you can hike near depending where you get on the area. Horse riding trails. Pavilions and cottages to rent. base ball diamonds. Dog park.

It's nice walking through Ellison Park. You can even see people horseback riding on the trail. I went up to a rider and asked if you can rent horse and do trail rides and then said yes and are open year round. Awesome!!!

This is a wonderful local park that still has some wild flavor even though it's basically in town. There are great walking paths, a dog park, wonderful pavilions and a beautiful little stream running through all of it.
