Small museum on large, beautifully manicured grounds that include a sculpture garden. Visit on a nice day so you can enjoy the outdoors as well as the indoor exhibit(s).

Wonderful Art Museum. Beautiful Mansion with changing exhibits every few months. Always interesting. Exhibit until March 2018 is particulary fascinating, but always good. Doscent tours every day except Mondays at 2:00. In addition, you can walk the grounds (artwork outside statues) and explore the forest...More

The Fool the Eye exhibit was fun, and even had my son looking! Some of the pieces look very realistic; others look like they're made out of one thing, but are really made out of something entirely different. A couple of pieces on the second...More

Nice collection of both paintings and sculptural pieces. Included trompe l'oleil. Some very large pieces. Would recommend taking the tour with a docent. Film included but I am not sure how a film on edible paper really had anything to do with the exhibit. Set...More

I suspect kids would not appreciate most or all of the museum exhibits. The park surrounding the museum has some nice large outdoor sculptures and people do picnic on the lawn at times, but this, too, is not much for kids.
