Wow! This museum is extensive and detailed. We were pleasantly surprised as it was the first time any of us had been here (grew up in Saratoga and passed the museum on a daily basis for years and always meant to go check it out)....More

The exhibits are outstanding and trace NYS military history, in particular, through the Viet Nam war. They don't glorify conflict but put it in context, using with photos, videos, & examples of uniforms, medical care, transportation & daily life.

Great little museum. Scavenger hunt for kids to follow along for each exhibit. No admission cost, donations accepted. Well kept museum - exhibits were very informative.

My sons loved this museum. Now, they understand what wars means. They realized how much sacrfices soldiers must live. It's a great place to educate kids and it's more effective than books. They asked me to come back. So...it means a lot.

Learned so much about NY State and its involvement with all the wars. AND a real history lesson of each war and the USA and each country involved. So very interesting and informative.
