DO NOT FOLLOW STANDARD COVID PRECAUTIONS
Oct 2021
We loved the soak and massage, BUT their COVID protocols did not exist. While it was clearly stated on their website and in the lobby of the Baths that masks were required at all times, much to our horror, we learned that the massage therapists, attendants, and lobby staff were not required to be masked or to be vaccinated. My friend asked her massage therapist is she was vaccinated. She was NOT, but wore a mask upon request. The others in our party assumed, incorrectly, that staff was vaccinated so we did not ask.
Their unwritten policies put us in danger and that is unprofessional
and dangerous in the times of COVID.

Beautiful Spa
Sep 2021
Stopped in while walking around the state park. Beautiful facility, with great products in their gift shop. Helpful, friendly staff. Bought Christmas gifts ~ can’t wait to give them!

Exact Opposite of Relaxing
Sep 2021
I made a massage appointment online, and received confirmation e-mail. Called in person two days prior, confirmed massage appointment, and added bath. Walked to spa on day of appointment, to be told they had no record of my reservation (even though I showed them confirmation e-mail). No massage. No bath. Nothing.

Incompetent.

Horrible customer service, inexperienced staff, rude director….go anywhere else. They messed up my appointment, showed up late, had everything wrong…never said sorry!

Wonderful massage
Aug 2021 • Solo
Wonderful massage with Justine! I go regularly for massages and she was as good as my massage therapist of 19 years. I noticed the reviews that mentioned that no health history was taken, which is unusual, and the locker room was pretty utilitarian but I still thoroughly enjoyed the experience! I didn’t opt for the mineral bath since I prefer them outdoors.

Spring Water Bath -- A Unique And Relaxing Experience
Jul 2021
It was difficult for me to book or view what was available on my cell (could have been my cookie settings), so we stopped in to see if there were any openings that day or the next. Massages and other services like facials were booked, but there were openings for the 40 minute mineral bath so we jumped on it. It was very relaxing and refreshing and with sort of a sensory deprivation chamber vibe -- if you slink down to put your ears under the water you could actually hear the popping of the effervescent bubbles! It's a unique experience and we're glad we did it. It was nice to have the relaxation room to chill out in afterward. Yes, the locker room is small, but the place was built in the 30s. The room with the bath is spacious and has an en suite restroom, which was convenient. It was nice that you could control the volume of the spa background music too.

Interesting Experience (But Not a Good Massage)
Jul 2021
We booked the bath and spa experience during our time in Saratoga Springs, wanting to experience a bit of history. The baths are located in the historic bath house, which has been updated to include a relaxation room and locker rooms. It's not a typical spa experience -- a bit less luxurious. The 20 minute soak was very relaxing, and I enjoyed that part of the experience. Unfortunately the massage therapist I got did not listen well, and there's nothing more frustrating than a massage with a touch you do not like. I don't know if she was new, or poorly trained, or some combination, but I was not happy. By contrast my husband's massage was great and really helped a problem area. I rated this experience a 4 since I am taking into account both experiences. Hopefully if you book here you will have better luck.

My new wife and I stayed in Saratoga Springs for our honeymoon and this was our first activity and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The mineral bath and massage were absolutely awesome and relaxing, highly recommend. We will be back!

Great experience
Mar 2021
We had a great experience here. Loved the Roosevelt-era historic buildings. Yes, they are old, but everything was immaculately clean. There are 40-plus room, and each has its own tub, bathroom and massage table. The soak was great, as was the massage that followed. Great, friendly staff. I look forward to going again when the Relaxation rooms, etc are open.

The grounds are gorgeous too- lots of walking trails.

Relaxing Bath in Historic Building!
Nov 2020
Finding the location is not straight forward. It is accessible by car, but requires a drive on the park path. It is part of a handful historic buildings. Well preserved and somewhat austere. So is the inside of Roosevelt baths. Deep bathtub filled with therapeutic water mixed with hot water. The water has somewhat of a bubbly feel to it. It is relaxing and afterwords skin feels smooth and body feels warm from the inside. The staff is friendly but could be more pleasant at the front check-in area.
