This is a very old cemetery with quite a bit of history. We had a wonderful guide who was as entertaining as he was knowledgeable. This is a must do for those visiting the area.

This cemetery is really interesting. We actually came across a tombstone for a soldier who died in the Revolutionary War! Many of the stones are blank since the years of wind and rain have worn away the wording, but there are quite a few from...More

This has been one of my favorite cemeteries visits. Tours and guides are great. And just beautiful! The variations of trees and plantings were a surprise plus!

Really cool cemetery, with the graves of the Van Winkle family (Think Old Rip's people) and author Washington Irving. Even the famous bridge where the Headless Horseman threw his head (pumpkin) at Icabod Crane and scared him to death is there, right outside the graveyard.
