Not from the area but as far as gardens go, this potential oasis is poorly maintained. The gentleman inside the arboretum was not knowledgeable about the plants at all. Sad. Many of the specimens around the grounds were dead or left for dead. Not enough...More

A garden featuring plants named for every letter of the alphabet, many trails, a Chinese Peace Garden, a Veterans' Museum, well-labelled specimen trees - it's a pleasure for the eyes! Also outdoor concerts in the summertime.

Drive by this place so many times never realizing it has such rich history. Cute museum on WW1 with a very knowledgeable curator. Arboretum worth the visit. Peaceful and tranquil.

Visited for their Halloween train show. A good place to visit with young kids. Easy to park and walk. A cute gift shop to visit too at the arboretum.

Although I know that a great deal of work has been put into upgrading Lasdon Park, it still has a kind of tired feel about it. The horticulture is standard fare and the gardens are somewhat tired, and lack any real surprises. The one area...More
