While nothing here is on a large scale, there is enough to make a visit enjoyable if you don't get your expectations too high. The conservatory (glass house), while not especially large, did have many nice plants including numerous beautiful orchids. A slow stroll through...More

We had a great picnic dinner on the lawn while listening to some great music. The gardens and arboretum are attractive and well maintained. This is a gem of a Westchester County Park unknown to most. Go for a visit!

Not from the area but as far as gardens go, this potential oasis is poorly maintained. The gentleman inside the arboretum was not knowledgeable about the plants at all. Sad. Many of the specimens around the grounds were dead or left for dead. Not enough...More

The Lasdons donated their home for public use and the surrounding grounds, with diverse plantings, is now Lasdon Arboretum. There is a beautiful lilac collection that goes on and on, pretty peony plantings, and in summer, live music. There is also a military memorial area...More

A garden featuring plants named for every letter of the alphabet, many trails, a Chinese Peace Garden, a Veterans' Museum, well-labelled specimen trees - it's a pleasure for the eyes! Also outdoor concerts in the summertime.

Drive by this place so many times never realizing it has such rich history. Cute museum on WW1 with a very knowledgeable curator. Arboretum worth the visit. Peaceful and tranquil.

Visited for their Halloween train show. A good place to visit with young kids. Easy to park and walk. A cute gift shop to visit too at the arboretum.
