I popped in here to have a look at some local art and was impressed with what was on display. So impressed that I’m going to order some work from one of the local artists for my living room walls. The art school classes looked ideal for my daughter although we ran out of time to sign her up for one before going back to Australia. Next time! 😎 I also took advantage of the local theatre production and got two tickets to see “39 Steps”. What an awesome show! I haven’t laughed so much at the theatre in a long time. The slap stick humour was a stand out. And one last thing on offer at the centre was the free wifi. The SCC is definitely worth popping into.

This place has come a long way from what it used to be. They have a theater group with local talent that puts on professional shows that are amazing. They also have free concerts in the park and the beach in the Summer on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30.

The Southampton Cultural Center has come a long way from just offering summer concerts in the adjacent Agawam park. Concerts, theatre, recitals, dance troupes etc. Check out their website for up & coming summer events.
