This is by far my favorite vineyard on Long Islands east end. It’s quiet, they don’t allow buses or vans, it’s decorated beautifully and of course the wine was great! (They only serve rosé - both sparkling & still).
Note that they also don’t allow...More
No buses or large groups is the sign that greets you when you arrive, and the rule keeps Croteaux a small, stylish vineyard. If you’d like a good winery with a relaxed vibe, this is your place. The wine is good and you get a...More
Located off of the beaten North Fork Wine Path, this winery specializes in Rosè wines. They do NOT sell in stores, so this is the only source.
Very nice veranda and the wine pour consisted of six samples of different Rosè blends - All very...More
This is a vineyard that also offers a small selection of foods to accompany your wine tasting. The rosé is excellent. The whites are also very good. They offer three or four food items including olives, cheese, spreads with crackers, etc. to accompany the wines....More
Wow this place is adorable! They've done a great job making it feel quaint. It's an all rose vineyard which isn't normally my favorite but I really liked the white I ordered. They have tastings or wines by the bottle/ glass. We ordered a cheese...More
We enjoyed our visit to this vineyard. We did the Rosé tasting and had fun trying to taste the difference between the 6 different Rosés with eyes closed! Really pretty garden seating - made everything and everyone looked beautiful!
Croteaux makes rose wines. I admire and enjoy good rose wines. I admire and enjoy a good winery experience. Although the wines were o.k., there was nothing note worthy . . . absolutely nothing.
We were ushered to a table, a server came and asked...More
What a wonderful experience here at Croteaux Vineyards. We went during the week so it was not too crowded. We tasted still Rose and sparkling Rose, really good. I would recommend this as one of the stops on your wine tour on the east end....More
We did a quick wine tasting, but all 6 were delicious! I love love love the atmosphere here, with the little rooms, rose bottles hanging and rose letters on the walls. It is so quaint and I can't wait to be back this fall or...More

You can buy directly from the vineyard if they have anything left from the season. My husband and I have been there twice. Well, he once, myself twice. The first time we met the owner, she was awesome and very accommodating. We really loved it there. I went back again late in the season. They were close to closing and the weather was terrible so I don't think there was anyone there. The salesgirl was nice, but not really as engaging as the owner. I understand they don't allow buses or car services but I believe it's because they don't want a bunch of rowdy, drunken people rummaging through the place. It is small and very quaint with parking for a dozen cars maybe. We really enjoyed our trip there in June.
