Thanks for your wonderful review! I am glad you enjoyed yourself at the Museum and love our little village.
You really feel welcome here--we were greeted and asked how Museum, dock, and Spencerport in general could help us with our needs. (we were cruising the canal in a 34 ft hired narrowboat) They provide boaters with free shore power hookup, water tank refilling, wifi...More

This is a cute little museum next to the Erie canal and attached to the canal pathway, easy to get to by car, walking or boat. Plenty of public parking. There are plenty of maps and informational brochures
A great place to visit if you are interested in canal history. There are helpful volunteers that can answer your questions. It is a great spot if you are a boater on the canal as it has bathrooms and showers.
