I'm a little confused by all the positive reviews, but upon reading them, they rate the views from the over look rather than the fort itself. We were on foot and made a long trek on a warm, humid day to see the Fort only...More

Quiet place, good view of the Verrazano - Narrows Bridge and Manhatten. Next to the USCG Station and feels secure.

Cute, small park right off a main road. Only a few people were there on a beautiful sunny Saturday. We got some great pictures before heading into the city. Lots of free parking!

I’m not sure about where you would have a reception. There is a church where you could have a wedding, or you can do like my son did and just get married at the overlook with NYC and the Verrazano bridge in the background.

From the Staten Island Ferry, in St. George, take the S51 to Fort Wadsworth. Only takes 10-15 minutes by bus. Return via same bus. Fort Wadsworth also connects to South Beach/FDR boardwalk through foot path or via same bus... More
