Part of your ticket when you visit Fort Ticonderoga it is worth a visit. Beautiful gardens including a formal walled garden this is a nice place to spend some time just relaxing and enjoying the grounds and views of Lake Champlain.

This garden is properly part of Fort Ticonderoga. Admission to the fort gains admission to the garden. There are a wide variety of flowers grown in the garden, as well as some fruits and vegetables. The gardener shared some fresh-picked strawberries with us.

The sun was shining, the insects were buzzing, the garden was just a blaze of bright colours. We found this a great place to relax and enjoy the glories of summer in these temperate latittudes. It does try to be a little more than that,...More

Now offer a 90 water cruise on the Carillon over Lake Champlain. This tour is optional but well worth the money. Can combine the fort tour and the boat tour for one price.

Spent at least an hour wandering through the gardens while waiting for the boat ride. Enjoyed every minute. Purchased some iris bulbs that were set out for sale.

Was quite surprised how much we enjoyed the walk through this garden after the Fort tour. The summer flowers at the peak of bloom and HUGE oak trees were a wonderful contrast to the stone fort. Rare gem was the Pell cemetery in the back...More

I wasn't holding out for a great visit as I am not a flower person. After entering the walled grounds, that thought changed. In well kept hedges, same height through out & evenly spaced are over two thousand types of flowers. Because of much rain,...More
