This is my favorite winery on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail for three reasons: ● The creativity of the owners with products and marketing. ● The topnotch quality of the products they sell. ● The Bellwether mascot Harry, a white cat still handsome and active...More

We had a great time visiting this winery. We showed up on a Friday at 10:30, because that's what they had listed online, to find out that the doors were locked and didn't open till 11am. The owner opened up for us anyway and we...More

They had 5 different ciders, we liked the sweeter ones. The place is located right along the road with ample parking. We stayed just long enough to sample the ciders, buy a couple, and be on our way.

We stopped by to share the hard cider experience with a friend who was visiting from England. The young lady who "poured" for us, was friendly and so much fun. She made our stop great, taking time to explain the cider process, and answer some...More

Tasting was so limiting. You were only allowed to taste ciders or wine. Ok well they only had 5 ciders all of which tasted the same. Felt like we were bothering them. Try someplace else.

The ciders were amazing! The farm is impressive. And, yes, very dog friendly. This will be our new fav spot on our next visit.

We stopped here for about 20 minutes to taste the local hard cider. We didn't try the wines, but they're offered as well.

We had not expected to enjoy Cider as much as we did. This cidery was the first one in the region. They get their grapes from a variety of vineyards and make small batches. Very tasty and will return with friends!

We sampled the Ciders and the Rieslings at this location. Nice mix of flavors for a range of palates! We enjoyed chatting with the staff! We will go back! Don't let this one go by with out checking it out!

Don't pass this winery by if you think Cider is their only product. The wine focus at Bellwether is on Riesling and Pinot Noir. Two of the Rieslings are made with natural yeast fermentation which adds a complexity to the wines which is unique to...More
