You must take the Winery tour to truly appreciate this gem. Oldest, continuous winery in the US - including prohibition. Excellent selection of wines and hard ciders. Lovely historical buildings and wine cellars dating back to 1830!

Lisa, kudos for an great tour. Very informative and really gave an interesting US history lesson along with the history of the winery! Beautiful property and buildings. Would definitely recommend.

My group visited this complex. It has a wine tour as well as a visit to the fabled wine cellar with historic fixtures in place, what seems like a stockade (perhaps for the most expensive vintage wines, antiquities, function space, the long vault and more....More

We had a very knowledgeable tour guide, though the tour was a bit long. Nice wine tasting at the end allowed for sampling of a lot of different wines.

We were able to take in the tour after our meal from Vinum's across from there (a must go to place for delicious food!). Our guide was able to take us as the last one for the day and it was amazing to hear the...More

Wonderful place, and the wines are fabulous! My absolute favorite is the Holiday Wine, which is sold during the Thanksgiving / Christmas holidays. Either cold or warm, it's just a fantastic wine!!!!

We were there for a festival so I don’t think we got to try the best of their wines. The grounds are impressive and the tour we did get which while not the full tour was a highlight. The wines we tried were not very...More

We've been here a few times already and always enjoy the stop. The wine goes by the slogan "America's Oldest Winery", it was started in the early 1800's. They offer scheduled tours into the underground cellars and are led by very knowledgeable tour guides. The...More

The tour was very interesting and informative. The wine tasting was really nice. We got to sample 5 different wines and got to keep our tasting glass as a souvenir. Afterwards, you can purchase bottles of the wines you liked at very reasonably prices. I...More

I'm a little late to the game, but if you are interested in a bed and breakfast, I LOVE the Dominion House B&B. It's about a 10 minute drive away. I go every year!
