Learning wine history from the oldest winery in our country was so very interesting! Walking through underground tunnels (dug out by hand), learning how they survived during prohibition, being in beautiful buildings, etc.. was quite a treat. We experienced our best wine tour guide ever while on this tour. We were very impressed by the way they handle the tour... More

I have gone to Brotherhood on several occasions. This review is from a Tour, Tasting and Buying ;) visit made in July and a second trip in December to their Wine store. The tour was great! The cellars are extensive and the guide we had gave an informative and interesting history of the Brotherhood Winery. After the tour we did... More

We had a wonderful afternoon at Brotherhood winery today! We were fortunate to have Peggy as our tour/tasting guide and she was great! It was a rainy, cold day today but she made the trip worth it! She was very knowledgable and even provided us with ideas on what to pair our wines with. We would definitely make another visit... More

We visited the Brotherhood Winery on our recent Hudson Valley, NY trip. It was well worthwhile. We did the tour which includes wine tasting. The tour was short but excellent. They take you through the underground cellars which were excavated by hand. The guide was an older gentleman who was very knowledgeable - his interest in wine & enjoyment of... More

visited the winery again after 35 years. Went for the wine tasting & thoroughly enjoyed it. Atmosphere was nice & the hostess was very knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable. Bought a couple bottles to take home & they ship.

Joanne took us on a tour of the oldest running winery in the US. She did a wonderful job, with the history of the winery entwined with US history. Although we came up with quite a few questions, she had an answer to each. The wine tasting at the end was delightful! We plan to give a couple of gift... More

I’m torn on this 3 star rating. I would give it a 3.5 if I could. First the positive, worm atmosphere, very inviting decor for a cosy night out with wife, husband or friends….NO KIDS!. The food was..O.K. at best and the floor show was very good and pulled this rating up to a 3.5. The parking lot is a... More

Brotherhood Winery hosted the event I attended there, and the lovely grounds, beautiful chateau and very accommodating staff made this even memorable. I am from Oregon originally and have not ventured around New York State except for visits to NYC and thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings and the area where Brotherhood Winery is located.

My boyfriends parents took my boyfriend and I here for the day. We took the tour which was awesome. Cool old wine cellar. Then we tasted the wine. It was good. They have a restaurant on site but it looked expensive so we didn't eat. Enjoyed my visit here and would return.

Spent the afternoon here with my husband. Our tour guide was Dave. He was so pleasant and knowledgeable. After the tour he did our tasting. He was so much fun. Most wines are delicious and all are nicely priced. I suggest you do the tour and tasting. It's only $10 per person. Glad we took the ride. We were also... More
