The water was calm and clean and though the beach was busy there were plenty of places to sit, even found some shade!

We stumbled across this beach after a drive from our stay at Trou Aux Biches. We most likely have one of the best beaches at our hotel but the calm waters, clean beach and rock pools were perfect for our family.

Such a lovely little beach perfect for swimming which is rare on the island! Peaceful on weekdays & busy & noisy on weekends so be prepared! Lots of food stalls nearby and good parking options.

This is not grand beach in any other terms than grand cozy. It's a small beach hidden by trees from the road in a little and cute bay. The water is like every other water on Mauritius and you will enjoy it. It can be...More

Came here and stayed in my friend's beach house, which has access to a private part of the beach. Fairly clear waters, which I guess wasn't so clear because of the fine sand. Nice rock pools by the lava rocks, where my kids saw starfish...More

There isn't one right there but if you go a few kilometers towards Grand Baie there is one on the right hand side. I am not sure if it is a private one, or open for public use?
