In short words, I think they see the Zanzibar as a safari experience 😂.
Accommodations (not hotel ones) have dated pictures. It's clean, but all the appliances are rusty and rooms are infested by different insects (ants, bugs, mosquitos).
People are nice, but poor and that is reflected in your comfort level:
- Police officers are trying to get money by inventing rules and showing you handwritten passages of the laws. When they don't have anything, they are asking directly for a contribution. There are a lot of them on the roads (at least 6 stops per day for a normal trip to some beach and back)
- Tour guides - are not reliable, in the first place they are giving you the highest prices ( up to 50% more), then they are trying to change the tour itinerary on the excursion day (taking out attraction stops, changing private to shared boats, and so on)
- A lot of sellers on the beach that are herrassing the tourist
- Infrastructure is very very bad. Don't rent a car here! The government is not investing in roads, signs, etc.

Benito and his teams (drivers, tour guides, etc.) are highly professional, friendly and attentive. Benito was always one WhatsApp away, which was very convenient. We appreciated it a lot. We spent seven days in Zanzibar, and we booked tours with Zanzibar's destination every day. Thank you very much, Benito and team, for making our experience in Zanzibar the best we could ask for. We highly recommend Zanzibar's destination.

We had the best time in Zanzibar with everything planned out by Zanzibar Destination. Benito was only a whatsapp away for any inquiries we may have had. Everything was planned right down to the last detail! We were well taken care of. We had Samir as our driver and he was the best! Thank you for everything and making our stay memorable!

Benito was really responsive, however we face some difficulties.
- we arrive in zanzibar at 11pm and our 3yo son was sleeping. we were waiting 45min for the pick up service and asked everyone there if they are picking us up and the driver wasn’t there and we took the transportation from the airport at the end.
- we took private trip because we want flexibility as we travel with small kid, and the drover keep saying we are late and need to be hurry (10min late), and he pick us up in the other hotel so we need to wait for another driver
- the tour guide that we have not giving much explanation, just basically just guide us where to go
- 1 of the boat crew was chilling below the tent, we ask him to move a.bit and he still there. I wasn’t comfortable laying below the tent as he was staring, my husband need to ask him to move so I can lay down, he literally move just beside the tent and keep staring.
It’s really easy coordinating with Benito, but maybe the staff need to be trained

Extremely easy to organise as we went. We were able to snorkel, ride quads to a traditional village, eat at the rock restaurant, and so much more. I could not possibly recommend it enough.

Great experience, Benito was recommended by a friend that came on honeymoon. Prices are reasonable and most importantly they organize everything.
Above all, punctuality is one of their most important strengths. You can rely on them easily.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great tour like Safari Blue which was unforgettable.
Also they provide transportation with good prices.

The best tour guide to book your trip safely and without worry
From the first contact to the end of the trip everything was easy, on time, and very well organized.
We booked a day trip safari to Mikumi National Park and had an amazing time. We even book airport transfers for our way in and back. It's safe, reliable and much cheaper that with the hotels, definitely recommend.

We contact for the first time by instagram.
Communication was always easy. I explained we were 7 girls, how many days we were going to stay and the different activities we wanted to do.
This shandy organises everything perfectly for you.
Highly recommended!!!! The drivers and all the people were very friendly and helpful!

Traveled with my mom and daughter, i was a bit skeptical and scared especially coming from so far (USA) needless to say benitto was nothing but professional and extremely helpful. His guides and drivers never mad us uncomfortable we especially loved samir (driver). Very humble loving and helpful people offering assistance and suggestions. If we go back we wil definitely call benitto. He just told us our oick uo times and arranged everything for us. His other guide from stone town salma was excellent aswell. If ever in zanzibar contact benitto!! 19 thumbs up. Never ever put any pressure with the money either. More concerned with us being happy
