We traveled to an agriculture farm and went around the abundant forest and was so informative to see many spices in their original form which most of them was unrecognizable. We had 2 Great guys both had the knowledge one was the guide and speaker and the other was the agile cutter, jumper that took pride in their job. Another... More

Interesting trip and very good fruits. We had a very nice guide and we received some presents: ring, bracelet, crown made of palm leaves. Nice!

Good tour where the guides mix great knowledge of spice agreculture with humour and fun. Get stuck into the local culture bargaining for spices perfumes and soaps at the end of the tour.

Delightful and delicious. On our spice tour a most congenial lad took us through an abundant orchard. Slicing bark, carving twigs, scraping seeds cracking nuts, pruning fruit, all in order to give us mini-tastes of all naturally growing there. Another agile barefoot youth scaled a coconut tree, tossed down a shell, then scuttled to the ground so that he could... More

My kids and I booked on a Spice Tour through the Pyramid Hotel. I was a bit wary at first, hearing from others that it was a tourist trap. Those naysayers could not have been more wrong. We were picked up from outside the hotel and taken via minibus to a spice plantation where we were treated to an informative... More

This was a low key tour of a local spice farm that can be done in 60-90 minutes. It was very interesting to learn about all of the different spices, how they are grown and processed. The guides were pleasant and made little palm leaf hats and bags for you. Be prepared to barter when buying the spices.

We did the spice tour,& I know that everything is out season so that's why I think it was very overpriced for what we got.I wouldn't do it again that's for sure at this time of the year.

I would recommend this tour it is very interesting to see spices in there raw state and you will learn a lot. You can also buy spices but you may get them cheaper in town

I expect you could organise this yourself, after all lots of taxi people will get you there. I thought the guide on our organised tour for the two of us was worth while as he went round with us explaining in detail about the botany. We started with trying all the local fruits - perhaps outstanding was us tasting Jack... More
