Drive the Glen! We visited from the UK and did. Great value and brilliant entertainment, even in a rental car. Be sure to arrive early and pay at the gate before joining the line to lap the circuit. We got four laps including a stop halfway to take pictures on the winning line. It far exceeded our expectations and at... More

We visited on a non-race weekend while in Watkins Glen. We were able to watch some racers who rented the track for the afternoon. It was nice, and allowed us to see what a race might look like here vs. an oval track. Nothing was open other than the one grandstand. There was no charge to watch, but a charge... More

My husband raced at the Glen in the sixties. drive the Glen was a wonderful opportunity to relive his previous experiences. Fee of $25 seemed reasonable for the event.

I was at a conference and we had one of our dinners at the racetrack.... Taking a ride...FAST... in a pace car made this a memorable day!

On the day we arrived there was no admission. As the person at the entry point said "all there is is cars travelling in circles". So despite the fact there was no sanctioned racing, there were a number of cars turning practice runs. As we watched from the highest point of one of the grandstands, we did see a little... More

Pleasantly stories at how nice this track was situated. Was able to stop and see a few car races first hand and it's nestled in s great location.

Had a great time driving the road course at Watkins Glen International. Took out PT Cruiser out with the top down on a beautiful day. Three laps around the course with a stop at the finish line for photos If you love road racing & Nascar this is a "must do".

Stopped by the track "because we could" and to drive so close and not see the track would've been sinful to my husband, a race enthusiast. Didn't expect to get inside, but was greeted enthusiastically by a gentleman at the gate who asked if we wanted to take three trips around the track for $20. "Ha, not in this car,"... More

We refer to this premiere race track as a "big boy track." It has flow, rhythm, and elevation changes, including the famous esses. Going flat up the esses from Turn 1 takes guts. The boot, is also legendary, where the toe is a tight uphill turn. The track was recently repaved and is sweet! It has lost some of its... More
