The Rooster Fish is 5 minutes from the gorge and makes a fine spot for a burger and beer after the hike. There is a parking lot across the street that seems to be reasonably accessible. Their home brew was delicious particularly the Porter. The...More

In the area I live in we have a Brewery Rapscallion that is very much like this one. Quality beers I had a flight. Best of the three in area we went to good but not great. Treehouse, Greater Good and Wachusett would rate higher...More

My wife and I stopped by the tasting room and I had a flight. Overall, the beer was good. They had several unique beers that were well done. Their Sriracha ale was very good. I'm not normally a fan of Jalapeno beers which are often...More

No food here. Just popcorn, but they do have two restaurants just a block away that serve food with the rooster fish beer. Some fun games tables and free tastings! Nice to come and chill for awhile.

Great beer tasting, but the server needed a lot of prompting to talk to us about the beer and the industry in Watkins Glen. The popcorn was good to snack on while tasting.

The bartender was less than eager to wait on us - shortly after we arrived, a group of about 15 arrived. He beelined straight to them though we were there first and I waved him down so we could get served before the large group....More

My wife and I recently visited Rooster Fish Brewing in downtown Watkins Glen. The tasting room has an "industrial" feel with a bar, ample seating (indoor and outdoor patio), free popcorn, and gifts. (They also have food, but we were there for the beer.) We...More

Beer was very good and the place seemed to have a good atmosphere. It was raining so it was a little slow but definitely had a lot of potential to be a great spot when it's busy.
