One of the best place in Kuwait eager to keep Kuwait héritage It should be recognised for this ! & encouraged to keep doing the wonderful work it always attract people in search of beautiful pieces a nice place that Kuwait should be proud of

It is not big or extensive but it is worth visiting for understanding the rich weaving tradition of Kuwait and the beautiful space in which it is located along with a nice coffee place. Try the unique charcoal lemonade there. The textiles and fabrics on display are very interesting.

This is a must-see for anyone visiting or even living here. If you live here, you MUST take one of their weaving classes... you will not regret it!

If are art lover you will love this place. it tells you alot about Kuwait history and kuwaiti women. loved all the art on display. not the place for kids though..

Sadu House is a tranquil and beautiful, traditional Kuwaiti house where you can learn about Bedouin weaving, styles and history. The Bedouin used the term 'Al Sadu' to refer to the traditional weaving process. Right next to the National Museum, this house aims to promote Kuwait's cultural and textile heritage. Started in 1978, it began as a private initiative. The house is located in a pleasant white house built in 1936 which reflected traditional Kuwaiti architectural style of open courtyards and wooden doors/windows (brought in from Karachi)- Kasha tiles were brought in from Baghdad... Visited here with a Kuwait eek and saw many interesting things regarding be doing weaving and traditional clothes. This is set in an original house for a wealthy family and so shows design of a house pre AC Era. Interesting to see. Near the national library
