We stopped on our tour around the island. We decide (my wife decided) to go to the top of the lighthouse. Yes, there are a bunch of steps to climb. the top is fenced in, its very windy up there, but it provides an awesome view.

We hiked up the road from Arashi Beach. I do not know the distance but it took about 25 minutes. We saw what looked to be large pertrified logs about 20 meters off the road, that at first glance look like rocks. If we were not walking, we wouldn't have noticed them. At the top the view is very nice.... More

We took a drive to the California Lighthouse. It was a pleasant get away for the day to check out the island away from the Hotels. The drive takes you to the other side of the island that is more of a desert. The strong currents of the water on that side keeps you out of the water and there... More

You need to check the sunset tiimes, and make sure you are there to the experience the whole sunset. At the very edge of the island stands the lighthouse so obviously the views are amazing. That being said the food is also delicious. After eating fish at almost every other restaurant; it was great to get a good pasta dish!

Not a bad thing just kinda boring, I wouldn't go out my way to go see it, you may spend more time getting there than anything else. No activities

Beautiful views from here. Did not pay to go up in the lighthouse- just looked at the sea all around- gorgeous! Just remember to take $1 to use the restroom. Worth the trip.

Fantastic! 360 view of the island. You will have to walk up but it is worth it. The views are amazing and you will earn bragging rights and have a great selfie to prove it.
