There are many reviews here about how great a guide Nestor is. They are all true! It is clear that Nestor has a love for the island and wants you to experience its beauty as well. He is beyond kind and looks after the horses’ well being too. Someone in my group was a nervous first time rider and Nestor made sure they enjoyed themselves and were always comfortable. I would recommend this company 100%.
I dropped my credit card when leaving and Nestor found it for me in the morning and got it back to me saving my vacation!!

Did a bike tour with Nestor. He was fantastic and tailored the trip to our abilities. Mountain bike and road bike are very different experiences. He was very patient and being just two of us on the tour , we had an amazing time! Would recommend d this tour but not for the true novice. It was strenuous and rugged. If off terrain is your kind of biking then this is the tour for you! Thanks Nestor!!

2/19/24 We had an amazing time on this adventure! Our guide (I believe his name was Nick) was great! It was a wonderful way to experience the nature side of Aruba! The horses were gentle and well mannered. The gentleman that picked us up at the resort gave us some great tips about restaurants to try (Lola's is a must). If you don't try this experience, you are missing out! We went in the morning at 7AM, it was a great time to go, the sky was beautiful, and it wasn't too hot!

The private ride was the highlight of our trip- which had a lot of highlights to compete with. We had an amazing guide (Max) who somehow knew exactly which horse to pair with each rider. The scenery was unbelievable- each turn and hill brought a new experience. Highly recommend this tour.

We did a mountain biking tour with Nestor. It was a fantastic experience! He adjusted the route/pace based on our own abilities. He was a friendly guide and told us lots about the island and route we were on. Absolutely recommend this tour if you’re in Aruba and down for an adventurous workout!

This was the best experience! All the horses were amazing in the trail had amazing views, all along it. Our guide stopped to take pictures of us, and they were extremely helpful and personable.
This is the ranch you need to go to for your horseback, riding. If I could give 10 stars I would!

We had such a great time at the Rancho Notorious. Susan was an amazing tour guide and the horses were well taken care of and easy to work with despite everyone in our group being beginners. Highly recommend.

This was our third visit to Rancho Notorious. Nestor is truly the most kind person you could meet. He loves the horses and takes the best care of them. You can tell they love him too. Being experienced riders we book private tours. We’ve been to many parts of the island. This past visit we went on a sunset ride. It was amazing! Thank you Nestor and Rancho Notorious for your hospitality.

My family of 4 went on the sunset ride with Nestor as our guide. The horses were amazing and we especially adored the guide dog Lucky. Views of the desert and ocean (both coasts) were stunning. Atmosphere was serene - no UTVs in sight. Really special way to see the back country. Highly recommend.

Went horseback riding with Nestor. Great guide and wonderful person to be around. Really enjoyed the ride. Nestor was talkative, informative and helpful. Would definitely recommend him as a guide any day. Picked us up on time too. Horses were responsive. Will definitely use him again on return trips.

Hi I would like to book a tour on the beach for me and my 9 year old daughter. I’m 38 and neither of us have ever rode a horse. Would this be a good experience for us?
Written 14 July 2019
HI Thank you for inquiring. Absolutely. The 1 1/2 hour ride is very popular for beginners.(all skill levels) just long enough. It also includes a beach. you will have a little bit of everything. The ranch itself is situated in the typical Aruban countryside. From there you go directly into the countryside ride trhough a dry riverbed towards the ocean. Along the North east coast there are many small beaches. he guide will accommodate to your skill level. Feel free to contact us by phone (297)699-5492 or by e-mail info@ranchonotorious .You can visit our facebook page by clicking on the FB icon on our webpage ranchonotorious Kind regards Barbara

Hi I am coming there next week with my family. We are definitely going to book a horseback riding excursion with you. I wanted to know if the terrain was very rough to get down to the beach? I have a 15;13 and 11 year old who have never ridden before. And also do you pick up at the Divi all inclusive villas?
Written 10 July 2019
They have pick-up services from hotel area. Please ask directly. Their horses are really well trained and provide you professional services. Hope your 11 year old can enjoy!

Hi,
Wondering if 3 hours might be a bit long of a ride for a beginner? I am considering booking #3 or #7 - any advice?
Written 31 July 2018
It wasn’t three hours of straight riding. There were some stops to see the views and one stop to swim. However you do need to be in reasonable shape as there are a few hills, mostly at the beginning of the ride. It is really pretty along the rugged coastline.

HI,
Sorry to hear this person feels this way. I know for a fact that rancho notorious has their animals at their heart and they are in very good condition. The owner is an ex jumper herself. I also know that the guides main concern is the safety of their guests. they need to make choices. I am sure that if the good riders would have taken a private ride on their own they would have gotten what they asked for. Once you participate in a group tour you depend on others.
Out of precaution the guides act.this is for every bodies safety. I find this more than logical. as for equipment i know they replace constantly. sometimes pieces may look rusty but that is the salt in the air here in Aruba.
When making a reservation whichever tour you do in what ever country make sure you choose the right thing you want to do. always when booking bigger groups adjustments will be made and you depend on others. So any special requests ,take a private tour.
Rancho Notorious is a family run business for over 20 years and they do understand
