Boca Catalina is one of my favorite places to relax after a week of hard work. We often go there to swim and have a glass of wine on a Friday evening! Nice to swim very nice to swim. You find local behaved😜 guests and tourists. Blue clear water to swim.

Best snorkeling we got to on the island. Some reefs are just 30' off shore. Apply sunscreen early and often or wear protective clothing. Saw lots of fish, sponges, and coral. Wear diving boots if you have them as the entry and exit is a little rocky. We biked up here from the Holiday Inn - just a couple of... More

Good to get out and about to see this location. The barren north of the island is rugged and refreshing.

We were in Aruba for an extended time and driving along this stretch of coastline NEVER got old. I could look at the water from the comfort of my car, I could pull out my chair and sit or I could walk for exercise with the sounds of waves. This is one place I will really miss!

This is a small beach but quite perfect. There were a number of tourist snorkeling boats nearby which seemed a bit off putting. Once they left I went to see the area they anchor in. It was well worth it. There was a good variety of fish and they came much closer than elsewhere. I suspect the boats feed the... More

Small beach better known for it's access to good snorkeling and diving on the nearby reefs and Antilles Wreck.

This is one of the spots the tourist snorkeling boats bring everyone, so there were 5 or 6 boats in the same area, churning up the water. I saw cuttlefish, which was cool, but overall visibility was very poor and the water was rocky from the boats, so it was hard to stay still for underwater photos. The entry from... More

Went on a day lots of people were there. The water was not as clear. I didn't see as many fish as I would have liked. It was not easy getting in and out of the water.

We sought out free, public snorkeling areas and this was one of our favorite spots. Entry into the water is rocky as there are small rock ledges at the shore, but that is why the fish can be found here.

Cool beach to hangout at and do some good snorkeling right off of the beach - much different from the beaches & areas near both the high rises and low rises. Boca Catalina is North of the high rises. You can walk to another similar snorkeling beach from here, but apparently Boca is hands down the best snorkeling North of... More
