was blown away by the size of the glacier the cracks you hear when it moves, the pure spectacle of the scene and the relatively quietness of other tourists when we visited. So glad we went and so will you be. Unmissable

The Perito Moreno Glacier in the Argentinean Patagonia – a true wonder of Nature - is a top “must visit” to make if you are planning to travel to the “deep South” of South America. The site is located 90 kilometers West of El Calafate,...More

We bought bus tickets the afternoon before in our hostel for 600 pesos per person. No problem, in high season. The morning bus of Caltur would pick us up at 8am and drop us at 5pm. There is an afternoon bus which leaves at 1pm...More

We thoroughly recommend visiting this awesome glacier, part of the third largest glacier system in the world. We took part on a guided walk, with crampons, on the glacier which was a fantastic experience. The views of this enormous glacier stretching across the front of...More

We did the mini trek and tour and we loved being on the ice. Was a real adventure using crampons, we survived ok and the whisky and ice at the end was a great way to finish.

We did a round trip in Chile & Argentina for four weeks. On the Argentinian side, this glacier was by far the most beautiful thing to see. You can only realize its full beauty when you stand in front of it. It is also possibly...More

Going to Argentina from Canada in winter to find ice might not seem all that logical, but a boat ride along the glacier and a hike across moving sheets of ice is impressive for anyone. Well organized expeditions, reasonable prices and comfortable lodgings near by...More

We got bus from Punto Arenas and it is a long day. Leave at 6.30 and back around 10.30. From Chile to Argentina by bus. But it is worth it. Only 2 hours when you’re there but it’s incredible and you should not miss it....More

I’m not sure. I don’t think so. We did it from puerto natales. Day trip. Long coach trip but worth it. Think Punto Arenas tour geared around cruise ships. Do PM glacier if you can.
