We booked the Grand Cru Classe workshop - just the two of us and the wonderful Jane, the sommelier. This was probably the best winery experience we've ever had. The chateau is beautiful on the outside, but what a visual treat to see the tasteful, contemporary renovation on the inside! The Bic tasting room is a work of art - all four walls covered in a mural hand-drawn using four Bic pens! Magnificent! We loved learning about the aromas of wine - but loved tasting the six vintages even more! We came by here by chance. Took a drive around the area. The vineyards are do amazing This is a very majestic Chateau. Very historic and excellent wine. Not a wine in Saint Emillion that isn't great.

We had a lovely time, the tour was just the right amount for us as well as our 3.5 year old son at 1:30 minutes. We had just one other couple and they were so welcoming. We’d certainly come back!

Large scale facility but still personalized. Jeanne did an excellent job at explaining the industry and Chateau de Ferrand wines and how to taste wine. She took her time and let us enjoy the wonders of Ferrand! A good location and a fun visit.
