We went on this wine tasting with little or no expectations but wow what an experience! The start of our wine adventure was a tour of the Convent des Jacobins winery in Saint Emilion with our wine expert Charles Edward ( He could be the best wine expert in Saint Emilion, first class) We were escorted through the fascinating, underground... Went to fabulous Chateaus, for high end wine tastings but let me tell you this little shop was one of our top spots, looks unpretentious but oh my the cellar tastings are phenomenal! Staff knowledgeable, informative, speak impeccable English and you can ship all those tasty wine lickity split

Great place to taste wine. Very friendly service and you get to taste many wines. We order wine back in June for shipment on Oct. 31. The wine was shipped on 10/31 and received in the USA on 11/2. They were very responsive to email communications concerning my shipment.

My husband and I wandered in to this shop, and what a delightful surprise! We had a fantastic tasting of all different wines from the region and learned a ton of new things. The gentleman that helped us, Charles, was so wonderful and passionate about the wine! If you are going to taste wine, do it here!!

A great experience ordering wine to ship home to Australia. They make it as cheap as they can to reduce the import tax. Staff always had plenty of time for us, always a smile and very generous with tasting.

I can only agree with all the other reviews of this wonderful shop. I went in with preconceived notions of what to order. After tasting many wines, I ordered totally different wines. We were able to stick to our budget and find many wonderful wines. Totally made our day in St Emilion and will be our preferred wine merchant for... More

After a full day of tastings we were rather tired and 'wined' out but since we were flying back the next day we figured best to finish buying wines to take home. Our guide Bogdan who was fabulous .. Check out my review on him suggested we go to his favourite wine shop. We thought it would be a quick... More

This place was recommended to me by the proprietor of the Maison de la Commanderie. I visited in the off-season so Ben, the marchand, had time to sit me down and go through a tasting and help me decide on wine in a leisurely manner. Saint Emilion seems to be one of the places to buy wine, there are a... More

We were made to feel very welcome and quickly introduced to a range of superb wines based on our budget and requests. It was quite busy whilst we were tasting but the host was easily able to juggle all and provide a personalised service to us all making everybody feel comfortable and valued. I would recommend Ets Martin for wine... More
