Super nice and who complains about waiting times should just go during the week.
Sure, the weekend and holidays are full. We have been there 5-6 times already, this time during the week, no 2 minute wait there is worth taking the time off.
Food is just the way it is. Pasta and pizza rather a 5/10 For the burger area an 8/10 pity is the in the tower with few visitors always too. Because there are nice healthy things, a tip to the staff, maybe these things if offered at the burger.
Guest Expirience is great, unfortunately the relaxation area for families was occupied by hot yoga and she could not sleep, then got a quiet place next door for free.

Only 2 minus points
First, outdoor pool too cold with toddler, 32 degrees is too cold, clear at 0 degrees outside temperature expensive to warm but so not useful for families.
You happier after 5 minutes.

Massages in the Hyggedal should be bookable in advance for hotel guests. Wanted to book a massage at Rulantica Mondays for Tuesdays could not. It's a shame.

Otherwise a 10/10

I didn't love this. We went on a week day, outside of German, French & Dutch holidays. We still had to wait 30+ minutes for every single waterslide. It was honestly insane. We went to Europapark too and the lines were even shorter there. There's also a lazy rivier, which of course had a queue. This queue was insanely long. People didn't have to hand in their floaty after one round, they could go however long they wanted. You couldn't enter without a floaty so some people would do like 10 rounds while you were just waiting there. We also burned our feet pretty badly on the outside part. The concrete is burning hot and in our culture we don't wear slippers outside but we should have.

The waterpark is very pretty, and there definitly are some nice things. Snorri river was very cute, fun and relaxing. The water temperature was very nice, the food was fine and there were some cute souvenirs. The slides were really fun, but we did all of them only once due to the waiting times. I don't get how it could be so busy on a weekday.

Overall, if you like waiting in lines all day for a waterslide I would recommend. I wouldn't go again. The slides really are fun but waiting this long for a waterslide is just nuts.

We were in Rulantica 2022 for the first time and except for the eternal waits everything was great. 2024 Waiting times are still the same. But the floor coating in the water area was very rough as coarse sandpaper, my feet were destroyed immediately 😭 and 40 minutes in the queue did not make it any better. The outdoor water cannons do not all work as they did in 2022. The prices for food and drinks I found a bit too expensive (bottle of water 0.5 liter cost 3.80 €😲).

Our 2nd visit after a fantastic time there last year - still didn’t disappoint! We booked the evening session 17:00 - midnight on a Saturday night at 32’c! Fantastic atmosphere and a great way to cool off, you’d have thought you were in the Med rather than Germany! We loved the silent disco and outside swim up bars. The evening music last year was a club DJ but this year a cabaret guitar player/singer which wasn’t our style so we enjoyed the water rides instead.
They’ve changed the kids wrist band system - last year they were given a €20 limit to pay at the end but this year it’s only what you want them to have and pay in advance at check in. A safer system to moderate your child’s spending!
The park was open til midnight with fireworks & a party at 11pm which was a bit late for our son but sounded great!

Superb water park.
A day with the family.
Arrived at 10:30 a.m. and left at 9:15 p.m.
I had bought everything in advance, tickets, parking tickets, drinks package.
At 6 it's a big expense but it's definitely worth it.
The weather was nice so the Svalgurok outdoor area was open, it was great.
We sat down on quiet deckchairs upstairs in the new tower of 8 carpet slides.
Honestly at the top.
We had time to ride several slides throughout the day with rest periods.
We had lunch at the pizza/pasta restaurant, reasonable price 11 euros per pasta dish or pizza
The drink package in Snorri bottles is great! 19 euros for a 5 cl bottle that you can refill 10 times, or 5 L!
I bought 2, so 10L for the day of 6, which means we tasted quite a few combinations of the machine!
Quite a few people, and very hot indoors, fortunately the outdoor pool and the Svalgurok slides give us a chance to breathe
After 7 p.m. attendance drops and that's when you have to do and redo the most popular slides, there is no waiting!
If you like water parks and slides, you shouldn't miss Rulantica if you come near Europapark.

Family outing with kids between 9-14 years. It's autumn break so we feared it would be extremely busy. That was also apparent when we wanted to book tickets online because it was first sold out for the intended day. The morning itself looked and then it was possible. I have to say, despite the many people, it was not so bad. Okay there are a lot of people and sometimes you have to sit down but I never had the feeling it was too long, the queues are improving well in themselves. You can also see the waiting times on the screens or in the app, which is very handy.

Queuing up for dinner (pizza paste) still went reasonably well if you went after 2pm. I would have liked to have some alternatives than always but again fast food but anyway.

The kids were having the time of their lives. It is expensive but since we had a day ticket and stayed until 20h30, we could do most of the slides, some even 2x.

It is beautiful all to see, super beautiful in theme.

What's also fantastic is the temperature everywhere! I am a cold sod but was immediately in the 1st pool already fully in. Even if you walk around from one slide to the other or when you have to wait, it is nowhere cold, wonderfully TOP !

2nd visit and much better than the first. A little waiting at the entrance and always the same ones who pass by the side instead of wisely queuing. The same ones who take their food and squat all day in the deckchairs and put everything they can on it to say there's someone there.
But it doesn't spoil the fun. We had time to do everything several times.
We found the pasta place. It's not bad, it's not too expensive.
The staff is friendly even if we don't speak the language, those with whom we could speak in French even better.
On the other hand I did not understand the Award Difference between advertised on the website 35 euros and the Award of the week of August 15 to 48 euros. If anyone can explain...

Attractions are top quality and for all ages, there are small water parks for babies indoors and outside. There life jackets are very useful for the kids when they don’t feel brave enough. Very well decorated and organised.

However, and this is really bad, there is really strong smell of piss in some parts, most of all during queuing, it is very disgusting and a system to call these issues must be in place but it is not so the smells stays. Imagine, using sandals is very inconvenient since you have to take them off for each ride, so most people go barefoot.

The other bad thing is that the food and drinks prices are high, 4 euros a 330ml bottle of water, 8 euros a small cheese burger, etc. quality of the food is low but still eatable.

The cheapest pair of sandals in there will cost you 20 euros.

We come from the Netherlands and still found the prices really high.

The day in general was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In the general impression you notice that the construction is very well thought out. Everywhere stood staff and looked after the bathers. The food was great (pizza and salad). The gastro area was unfortunately very bruised and you could hardly walk through. The cocktails at the bar outside come from a mixing machine and unfortunately did not taste good for the price. The sauna area was pure relaxation! Unfortunately, there were areas that smelled very much of urine such as partly in the sauna area but also very strongly in the waiting areas of the slides. The waiting time here definitely has to be included as we sometimes had to wait up to 1 hour. The parking lots are super organized and everywhere there are ways to dispose of his garbage. The sanitary facilities were very clean and even in the bathroom generally was cleaned under high performance. We will definitely come back (but not during the holidays) ☺️

The positives: The ticket purchase via the app was simple. The rides we tried were fun, safe and the mermaid/triton/snorri theme is a hit with the children. Some rides/ splash pools are baby friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced.
This park is beautifully done and well maintained. It has great potential but had some major flaws that, if improved, could make it much nicer!
The negatives: we visited on a long weekend and the place was PACKED with people; they sold far more thickets than they should have. The facilities are big and the maps difficult to read so it was impossible to find your way around and select which rides were appropriate for what age age. Most queues/ waiting times were very long so we only managed to try a few rides. The app was not helpful.
The wait to get any food was approx. 1hour, and you have to queue which is not acceptable when you have small children.
If you bring a push chair, you must book a large locker for the push chair or leave it in the car. When we asked if there was a dedicated place to park them, we were told in a passive- aggressive tone that if we did that, it would be taken away and “it could take up to 30 days to retrieve it”. Lady, it was just a question!
And this brings me to my last point: the staff. Most of the staff we interacted with was not costumer oriented or nice at all (example above) and needs training. Maybe they are overworked but they need to keep in mind the place they work at. As we were leaving Rulantica, an older Gentleman that works at the Souvenir shop at the entrance hall was SCREAMING at a little girl because she dared to touch one of the shop’s ballon. And answered me in a grumpy way when I told him that it was just a balloon (what the girl’s family paid to enter was likely enough to buy 50 of those balloons).People who only think about sales, scream at children or give intimidating responses should NOT work in a family-oriented water park.
Rulantica has the potential to be a great place but it’s not there yet. We enjoyed some aspects of it but the essential is lacking, so we will not be returning soon.
