We believe the best moments happen at sea! Visit uninhabited islands by kayak to explore the stunning natural beauty of the Eastern Isles. Discover deserted beaches, neolithic settlements, and incredible wildlife including grey seals who may even follow your kayak! Head out on a paddleboard on crystal clear waters and explore the shoreline of St Martin's. Whether you're new to paddle boarding or an experienced paddler we have options to suit everyone's ability. With double and four person stand up paddle boards why not share your supping experience with family and friends? We are open from April to October, Sunday to Friday from 09.30, always weather permitting! and all the equipment that you need to be out on the water safely is provided. We offer a variety of hire periods, from one hour to six days, and with over twenty five years of local knowledge, will provide you with all the information you need to plan your adventure out on the water.

St Martin's Watersports had to change the day of our hire due to bad weather, we were so glad they did, having never done Kayaking before we were a bit nervous and did not want to risk taking our mad Spaniel on the Kayak with us, They cared looked after him for us on the beach while we were out. Thank you so much For that, we had a wonderful hour out on the sandbank and will definitely be brave enough to take him next year. Anyone visiting ST Martin's I would definitely recommend using these guys. They are very safety conscious and really lovely people too.

So much fun and gave my children the opportunity to try something new on an amazing safe beach. Anna was so friendly and flexible and able to recommend the best time of day and the best equipment. She let us have a go in a kayak and on a paddle board. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

We had a great time kayaking from St Martins. The booking process was easy. We got to the venue a little bit early but that was no problem and we were soon off. You should note there are no changing facilities apart from the public loos, which were very wet and not that clean. We changed behind a towel on the sands. You can leave your bag safely. You do need to take a mobile phone with you and you are given a dry bag for this. Plus you get a map and instruction of where you can and can't go. What would of helped us, personally was more information about the tide and wind direction. We found it very hard to keep a straight line on our return journey because of wind and current. Overall a good afternoon.

Thank you for leaving as a review, it's much appreciated. We're glad you found the booking process easy and that we were able to get you out on the water as soon as you arrived. Being based literally on Par Beach, sadly, we don't have any changing facilities, I'm sorry the public toilets weren't very clean. Thank you for your feedback about the information about wind and tides. We'll explore ways to better convey the effect these can have when kayaking, particularly on days when the wind speed is at the upper end of our operating limits.
We're glad you had a good afternoon and fun out on the kayaks.

I chose to stay on St Martins Campsite 6th to 13th September .
During my stay I wanted to send a short Video to my Grandson who is named after the IOS Uninhabited Island of Tean .. It was his Mothers Birthday on 11th September . (she is called Bryher after the IOS Island too !! ) so the only way to get there was by Kayak. After speaking to Anna of St Martins watersports we decided Monday 11th would be perfect weather to take a Kayak.
we booked it and it was a PERFECT day . Not only did I paddle the length of St Martins to get to Tean , I then progressed to Old Grimsby Tresco for lunch .
I then paddled back to Tean for more photos and then paddled to the Eastern Islands. Al in All 7 hours was spent on the water and I had the BEST of days . Thanks you to Anna and St Martins watersports for a day to treasure . Ivan Coleman SEP 2023

This is our second time coming over to stay on the Isles of Scilly and both times we have used St Martins Watersports. Each time they picked the perfect time for us to kayak to the sandbank. It is truly magical and hard to believe you are in England. We have been lucky enough to have great weather and it is like you are in paradise. Brilliantly run company and will visit every time we come back. Thank you.

We hired equipment from St Martin's Watersports when we visited the islands last month. On the morning, me and my daughter and partner did the seal snorkeling and had booked to do paddle boarding in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the weather had turned for the worse, so an offshore wind and poor visibility meant that our watersport session would have been limited somewhat. Anna who runs the business, gave us an option to defer the booking for when the weather improved, which was a couple of days later, or have a rather cold and wet experience that afternoon. We chose to return two days later.
The equipment we used was modern and in great condition. We were given guidance on how to paddle board (we were all newbies) and strict rules of the furthest boundaries we could go, as there was still an offshore breeze. We all had a very enjoyable hour, learning to balance and (eventually) stand on the boards.
We are visiting next year and very much hope to book double kayaks to explore a bit further, weather permitting.
Big thanks to Anna for being flexible to amending our booking so that we could have a more enjoyable experience.

Kayaking around the St Martin’s has always been magical - especially the seal spotting! This was our third time to hire kayaks here and we went for the multi day option, which gave us real flexibility to go out on the water at our own pace. The equipment is excellent and Anna and her team give knowledgable advice on the local area and have a safety-first approach so kept in touch regularly during our hire. Highly recommend!

We had a kayak and 2 paddle boards for the day and had so much fun. Stopped at a beach and had a picnic. Collected shells and swam off the paddle boards with snorkels. Children had so much fun. Staff really helpful a must for staying on at martins.

Easy to book. Fabulous kayaking out to the sand bar. Comfortable kayaks and reasonably priced. Would hire from them again for a longer period and explore more of the Eastern Isles.
