Horse riding treks for all abilities along the beaches and coastline of St. Mary's in the beautiful Isles of Scilly. British Horse Society Approved, fully licenced and insured with qualified instructors. Quiet and well mannered horses and ponies. Lessons also available. Age from 4 years. Prices start at £20pp-£65pp. The only horse riding establishment in the Isles of Scilly.

Absolutely magical day. Beautiful horses, wonderful people, stunning views and fantastic ride. It's obvious they put 100% care and energy into this magical stables. Will definitely return. Absolutely loved our time there. Ali & Paddy

This is THE best way to see St Mary's - Claire and her team extended a warm welcome to my very experienced partner and I (completely new to horse riding). Although we were running late of our own volition they were friendly and expeditious. I rode Joules, a very calm and docile shire horse and my girlfriend rode Patch, a more agile stallion. Both were suited to our experience levels.
'Tasha riding Polo guided Joules and I across the beautiful scenery of St Mary's. We saw a few burial chambers and rode through along the paths winding along the purple heath. My guide was exceptional, controlling her horse, mine and me! Eventually we let the horses cool off with a stroll through some water and headed back to the yard.
My girlfriend being the more experienced rider was offered an area to canter with Claire and other experienced riders while I hopped off Joules and learnt a bit more about her and her breed.
Overall Claire's well educated and experience really shine and her super team around her makes this the easiest 5 star review I've ever made.

We ride here every year with Claire and her team and every year, I, as a very novice rider, am always met with such compassion and patience. My daughter is a horse owner and as such is an experienced rider, it’s wonderful being able to be on the same trek together; my daughter riding independently and me with a leader! Tash, the leader I had today, had the patience of a saint! She managed to keep me (fairly) calm throughout and explained how to get the most out of my ride with my seat position etc- but she also had complete control over my horse- which I was so very grateful for! She put up with my squealing and constant nervous talking for the duration of the ride! A great addition to the team! Thank you also to Fraser, who every year, has to help me get off the horse!! Again, a truly great asset to your team and a genuinely kind person and also thank you to Lucy, who again every year is professional and checks up on us throughout the ride and took some pics for us too! Thank you all. We will be back! My daughter to definitely ride and perhaps me… Well maybe I will have a few lessons throughout the year and on my return, surprise you with my horsemanship skills! 😂🤣😆 Thanks, Kelly.

Had the most amazing ride along the coast with spectacular views. We then rode into the sea for a short time which everyone really enjoyed and it was obvious the horses did too.
The riding school is very professionally run with lovely staff and beautiful horses that are very well cared for.

What a great ride, I loved every minute of it! We were blessed with great weather and the views and scenery were stunning. Claire and her team at the stables are lovely - very friendly, organised and professional. The horses were superb, all very well schooled and well behaved. The ride catered for a all abilities and it was great that those of us who were more experienced could have a canter up the field at the end, too.

For context, we had never ridden a horse before so were complete novices! From the offset, the booking process and Claire's communication was second to none. When we arrived, everyone was so friendly, warm and welcoming. Fraser and Tash led our horses and were both brilliant. Rocky and Joules were lovely horses too and clearly all the horses and ponies are very well looked after. What Claire (owner) has done is nothing short of amazing - we'd never ridden horses before and to be able to do so on St Mary's with the spectacular views seeing the white sand, crystal clear beaches has created a lifetime memory.

I am an old man with almost no riding experience but I was treated with kindness and respect during my hour in the saddle. A young man called Fraser led my group of mixed ability riders down to the beach and back and I felt safe and reassured at all times. Thanks to you all at St Marys riding centre, you certainly look after your customers and your horses are obviously well loved and cared for.

Really impressed with everything about my riding experience. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and lovely horses. It was fantastic to ride in the sea, and as a more experienced rider, I was catered for as well. Would highly recommend to anyone, beginner or seasoned rider.

We are in our sixties and non riders however the riding centre team helped us on and off the horses and used lead reins . Very enjoyable and totally professional
