Great place to spend an afternoon or two...

The gardens were very quiet (it was November) and peaceful... the collection of figureheads from some of the wrecks around the islands was very interesting.

The gardens are lovely even in the autumn and the Valhalla Collection is most interesting and quite superb.

Beautiful gardens with exotic plants year round. Quirky figurehead 'graveyard' & interesting history. Expensive to access but worth the outlay.

A stunning garden with various terraces and great sculptures. Lots of echium and cacti type plants make this an unusual garden in the British Isles. Good café with shop make it a great day out. The rest of Tresco is easy to walk with views over the water and lots of stunning views. We were lucky with a balmy warm... More

Enter the Garden's and step into a magical world of plants and nature. Valhalla Museum is fascinating with its stories about the shipwrecks behind the sculptures. A garden full of mysteries ..... 10*

Words can't really do the gardens justice. We were lucky enough to visit on a sunny autumn day and thy are just beautiful . Having a coffee we had red squirrels and an abundance of cheeky birds on our table. We were visiting with some friends from Australia who were astounded to see so many of their native plants growing... More

This is a really wonderfully tropical garden with lots of different paths to take and sculptures to discover. Which ever route you take, you will come across beautiful plants, trees, sculptures, brown squirrels and golden pheasants. I could visit this place every day and find something new. The only negative are the staff that work in the cafe are the... More

We were very lucky with the weather as the sun was shining & clear blue skies. The gardens are very well laid out. Love all the unusual vegetation. Saw several red squirrels & golden pheasants. Well worth a visit when visiting The Scilly Isles. I hope to return in the springtime sometime.

Fairly steep entry fee but the gardens themselves are beautiful with a lot of exotic plants you may not have seen before. Lots of paths to take and plenty to see. The wildlife is also wonderful; extremely cute red squirrels capering about (introduced to Tresco in 2013 i believe) loads of bees and an abundance of butterflies. My mum and... More
