    Lovely little beach
Our nearest beach when staying at the holiday cottages in the middle of the island. Lovely beach cafe with very friendly staff. Clean beach, clean but chilly water. Great place to spend time in the sun!

One of the best beaches you can visit in the UK and beyond.
This beach is a bit of a walk and can include some big steps/ Clift top walks. Buy if you have decent mobility its fine. If you don't like hights go left from the port. It's probably a bit longer, but much flatter. The beach is small and secluded and I'd you take the flat route the last beach you come to, so it was quiet. But the sand is soft, the sea is clear and the waves were gentle. Rivals any beach you care to mention and the best I found in the channel islands. Honestly today it was at its best and that is world beating.

Paradise with grey skies in late September 2023
This was one of the nicest beaches I have ever come across. I could even liken it to the Caribbean but the weather is not always as predictable. Even with the grey sky of a windy late September day this beach was beautiful!

I was walking around the Island and stopped here for a rest. The beach is quiet and rather amazing. The cafe made it for me. I am on a medical diet, the chap in the cafe took the trouble to phone one of the people who makes the sausage rolls to make sure I could eat them, best sausage roll ever. Thank you for the most excellent customer service

Great Bay to soak up sun, safe sandy beach and a Kiosk to buy basic food, sandwiches, ices creams and hot drinks.

Badly let down by the Kiosk knowingly selling mouldy and out of date crisps, plus 30 days old and a real health hazard, makes you wonder what else was out of date.

This is a fantastic scenic beach on Herm Island. If you are in Guernsey you should spend a day on Herm and also visit this beach. There is a cafe as well. Unfortunately public toilets are a 5 minutes walk away at the next beach.

When we where there we have been very lucky, first with the weather and second a seal was chilling on the beach. If you experience the same please do me one davor and stay around 10 metres away from the seal. They belong there. We are guests.

Not as "hyped up" as Shell Beach, but this one, only just around the corner has the same beautiful clean golden sands but also affords more shelter from any prevailing winds, being surrounded on 3 sides by lots of green foliage on its surrounding steep walls.
A set of wooden steps lead from the pathway where you will find a small ice cream parlour there, which was closed when we visited!

Our favourite beach on Herm. So peaceful and beautiful. I did swim but the water remained cold! It was a pity the cafe wasn't open.

A lovely sheltered beach when others are exposed. A short walk from the village, with a lovely sandy outlook and a cafe. Much smaller Tha other beaches on the island surrounded by cliffs giving it a sheltered position.
