Our tour was very informative, learnt a lot about the remote lifestyle of the lighthouse keepers. Very strenuous work carrying fuel up the 176 steps constantly throughout the night. Fantastic views from the top platform. Would recommend. And would highly recommend the cafe. Excellent service.

The lighthouse is not charming so I decided not to take the tour inside ($22) and it would just give a higher viewpoint. What I did enjoy was the walk from the cafe to the lighthouse isrlf ($6) where there is a viewpoint to see...More

This was a nice tour especially the informative guided tour inside the lighthouse. We enjoyed the breathtaking beach views where southern and Indian oceans meet. Audio tour stops provided valuable historical information about the place.

Visited the lighthouse with my family and had a wonderful tour. Guide was excellent, great little tit-bits of knowledge. We visited on a stromy day so the view from the top wasn;t the best, but it was still worth it.

The tour was facilitated with the audio guide that provided with great details about the operation of the lighthouse and its historical important position. The views were open in front of the embrace between Indian Ocean and Southern Ocean.

Visited here on a very windy day but it added to the excitement and experience of what it might have been like to live here. Don’t let the weather deter you- just rug up! On really windy days tours don’t operate due to safety so...More
