Only open in afternoon after 1pm, went in with girlfriend spent quite a bit of time in there. Lady in office very helpful & shared lots of local information. A lot of variety of info & things to look at. $7.50 p/adult cheaper for seniors...More

This small museum is full of amazing history .who would of thought so much happened in this town. Augusta was the third town to be settled in west aust,awesome..

We were filling in time and decided to check the museum out. Open 1 until 4 volunteer run. The lady running the day22/9 was very helpful and informative. It looked quite small but had plenty to see and do. Very impressed overall

worth a visit to see some of the early settler information and history , something to do if it's raining and although smallish it is packed with artifacts and nice curators.

A very good local history museum, covering a wide range of topics- shipwrecks, local industries, early settlers etc. lots of quite fascinating stuff and some very interesting pieces in the museum collection. Small local museum but packed with lots of information, exhibits and interesting facts. We found it very informative finding out about the early settlement of Augusta. Well worth a visit.

Quite a good collection of Antiques from around Augusta, good history of the founding families of the area, and lots of info on various shipwrecks from the past.
