Our driver had expert knowledge having some studies and also delivering experts from worldwide. A must see to understand who the world started, but an experienced person to explain is essential.

A stunning location with interesting boardwalk but somewhat ruined by horrendous numbers of flies everywhere. Fly nets a must.

Really cool seeing and learning about the stromatolites, the oldest living objects on earth. Great views of the turquoise ocean as well. However, the flies were so bad here (and we didn't have fly head nets at the time), that we had to run around...More

One of the attraction spot by Shark Bay, along the Hamelin Pool boardwalk, you can see areas are covered with microbial mats and stromatolites, a well spent of 15 minutes.

I wouldnt recommend driving here after you have started your holiday in Shark Bay. We waited until we had finished our stay and looked at this place on the way home to Perth. It's got great jetty to stop and look at the Stromatolites.

A good place to view the Stromatolites. A good stop off point to appreciate the heritage of this diet, something I've not seen anywhere else.

Well worth a visit. Boardwalk with interpretative signage gave great access and insight into the ancient stromatolite formation.

Beautiful place, crystal clear water, clean beach. It is interesting to see the stomatolites, you can see them all the time, best time to visit is during low tide though. Worth a quick visit.

On the way to Denham and Monkey Mia well worth a quick visit. Beautiful bit of ancient earth history with explaination sighnage along the boardwalk as you closely observe the stromatolites. Allow 10-20 minutes or more.

This was a dud for us. Maybe if we’d had really strong repellent....but really there wasn’t a lot to see. I know they’re important but I didn’t learn much, there wasn’t a lot to see , it was 40 degrees centigrade and the wildlife treated...More
