We decided that the price to visit was ok, but we had been to many lighthouses in the past. However we had a good walk around it following the circular path and saw the views of both the lighthouse and the cape.

This lighthouse is st the point where you can see two different seas. The one on the Dunsborough side is quite calm whereas the other side is more a surfers paradise. Very interesting point.

Great location for all to visit. Easy walk up the slope for access to the light house. Boardwalk viewing so no steps unless you wish to climb the lighthouse. Lovely spectacular blue wrens in the bush on the walk to the light house.More

Hi Helen R, Thanks for visiting. There are so many birds active at the moment out here. It is an absolute pleasure! Thanks for mentioning our new boardwalk and lookout, all wheelchair accessible offering great views of the cape. Just wait until whale season. Kind...More

A little dull for adults but maybe families would enjoy it more. Absolutely millions of flies when we went which probably didn't help our enjoyment. It delivers everything you may expect from a light house visit.More

Hi Bernyd87, The flies can be a pest in early January, especially if you're not used to them and on a hot day. I hope on the next visit you're able to join one of the guided lighthouse tours they are very informative and might...More

I saw the almost complete renovations at the historic 1907 Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and its accompanying lighthouse keepers cottages today - and it's a winner! Takes this to the top of attractions in the Dunsborough/Busselton/Cape Naturaliste region. The new cafe is serving really good coffee,...More

We saw some whales at the whale observatory. Just follow the whale watching boat and you'll see some water splash back of the boat. That's the whale!

Hi Scipio A, You're very lucky, it is quite out of season for whlaes at them moment. If you get the chance to return in Spring, they are everywhere it is really amazing. We hope to see you then. Safe travels, Cape Nat Staff

This lighthouse tour is a great size for families with younger children. 59 steps makes it do-able for the kids with the quick reward of being at the top - which is where they want to be. Plus they learnt some interesting facts without being...More

Hi CourtneyRS85, Thanks so much for visiting our historic old lighthouse. Because it is positioned on a 100 metre high bluff, the lighthouse is only a short one at 59 stairs which makes it very accessible. As you would have seen though it still offers...More
