Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely National Park stretching South along the coastline to Augusta. A few breaks where development has been undertaken but still plenty of tall trees and varied vegetation to enjoy. Some great caves to enjoy underground experiences, beaches of white sands, rock outcrops and rocky coastline, campsites, drives, walking trails, lookouts; its all here for the visitor. Majestic Karri trees, peppermint, banksia, and other species not known to me. We have been through in spring and summer when the Park is ablaze with colour. It's a place where you can feel at one with nature.

Western Australia is known as the "Wildflower State". The Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park is in the extreme southwest of WA. The scenery is glorious, with rugged outcrops, wild bush, costal scenery, and wildflowers, especially in spring. It's 124 km (77 miles) between Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste. It's worth planning your route in advance, whether hiking or driving.

Located a short drive from Dunsborough the national park here has plenty to see and do.
The main attraction is the lighthouse. You pay a small fee to go to the lighthouse but it is well worth it. There is a viewing deck here and you can see whales splashing and breaching here this time of year.
If you don't want to see the lighthouse there are a few different trail walks you can do. My favourite is the walk to the whale lookout. Plenty of humpbacks are swimming past this time of year.
The small cafe is really good, the coffee was nice and the cakes were delicious ( especially the brownie) yum 👍
Well worth a visit and wear comfy walking shoes.
Travel tip- Bring binoculars and cameras foe the whales.

The Leeuwin-Naturaliste Park is a beautiful part of the Western Australian Coast line and is a must do when in the area.
The beaches are all stunning with their crystal clear blue waters and white sand.
So much to enjoy here.

We stopped off here on the way south to break the journey and because we had been told that Sting Rays often came in close to the shore. We parked in the beach car park and crossed over the sandy path down on to the beach which is just beautiful, with just a few fishermen and families enjoying it. But no Sting Rays. So we walked along to the boat ramp, and there they were! About 4 of them, maybe 3-4 foot across, swimming slowly up and down near the wooden and on create posts, and within three foot of the shore. Amazing sight!

Visited on Tuesday 26th November. We drove through the National Park on our way to Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, the road was sealed all the way.

Experiencing the meeting point of the Indian and Southern oceans is akin to the Cape of Good Hope. It is well worth the trip but be sure to go with plenty of sunlight, as the sun begins setting around 4:30 in the afternoon in May.

An amazing national park. Fantastic scenery, beautiful lighthouses, with very helpful guides, great walks & roads. We stayed at Conto's Field & the camping spots were very private & well equipped with table & fire pit. Reminded us of Canadian campsites. Really well located for exploring the south west area.

Named after the two capes at either end of the park (both have lighthouses) this park has 120 KM of great coastal scenery. The parks is well maintained and signed with good parking and walking trails and in summer loads of friendly flies.

Spanning the southwest coastline this park has everything from beautiful beaches, rocky outcrops, lookouts, caves, lighthouses and some camping in places. You can't come to this area without experiencing some part of the park.
