If you want to snorkle from the beach by just walking out into the ocean, no boat needed, this is a good option. It is a beautiful beach, it was being enjoyed by a few people but not crowded or noisy. The carpark has 2 options ( beach or drift) we went drift. carpark also has toilets. Just walk to the left a bit along the sand before getting in the sea. You will drift along twards the point, just exit before the point as that section is dangerous. We saw corals and a variety of fish. There is a lovely shallow sandy section also to just hang out in which has fish in the shallows. Be aware there is no shade and Byo food and drinks.

Hired Car and drove to Yardie Creek and stopped at Turquoise Bay for snorkelling on way back in the Drift area. Was great until stung by an Irukandji jelly fish and after a 3/4 hour dash to the hospital spent three hours having pain killers administered. All good now but not fun at all.

Hands down the best beach in the area - the sandy is powder white and the water is clear, clean and turquoise. We visited many of the beaches up and down this coast and this was our favorite. We kept returning here during our stay. To note, there is very little shade here (which is typical of Australian beaches in general). It was never crowded, the water was nice and warm. Did not see many fish in the drift but the beach is fabulous. I see why it has won Best Beach award. I would rate it one of my top 10 worldwide

Awesome experience. Just walk in from the beach to snorkel with all the tropical fish you can imagine plus rays, black tipped reef sharks also spotted. Drifting with the current. The most spectacular Turquiose water ever. One side for snorkelling and the other side of the point a calm bay for swimming & playing in the water. Great for kids,

There are quite a few beach stops you can make along Yardie Creek Road along the Ningaloo Coastline including Turquoise Bay, which according to many publications is one of the most beautiful beaches in Western Australia. We stopped here during our recent stay in Exmouth and found the beach at Turquoise Bay mighty impressive. Great sand for walking and relaxing. The water is a lovely turquoise colour, swimming and snorkelling conditions looked great although we just enjoyed our time on the beach this time around. Quite a few tempting beach stops along the Ningaloo Coastline, this one is well worth stopping to check out or better yet, stick around and enjoy for a few hours.
