We caught the bus to this furtherest point just to see the seals and it was well worth it. It would've been good to have a shady spot to sit and eat out lunch but there was only one table out in the sun. The...More

A low vegetation walk to the viewing platforms. Seals on the rocks & frolicking in the ocean. Further out a couple of whales were seen.

This was such an amazing place to jump off the Hop-On and Hop-Off bus to explore. We saw so much wildlife. The bay was filled with seals! so many and then we looked out a little way and could see dolphins playing near by and...More

We got off the Island Explorer stop and walked to the viewing platform to watch the seals. They were there in large numbers, lazing on the rocks and some jumping in the water.

We were on the top of a cliff. It was interesting to see so many plants on a huge rock. We had a great view over the bay, enjoying the waves and the beauty. It was beautiful! Worthwhile to see!

It's a fair ride out to the West End and Cathedral Rocks - but worth the effort, as the coast is spectacular. At the end of a short path there is a viewing platform where you can sit and watch the seals play around. Sometimes...More

We visited Eagle Bay by boat. The seal colony was sunning itself in the waters around Cathedral Rocks and we were able to swim over and view them from a safe distance (standing on the reef) without disturbing them. The viewing platform onshore is excellent...More

This relatively new platform at Cathedral Rock's is well worth the ride or bus trip to view. The New Zealand seals that come to this area are great to see.. If you are lucky enough to to be there when the bay is full of...More

Most people miss Cathedral Rocks at the west end of Rottnest. A couple of hundred metres from the west end, it is a must. The walk ways and viewing areas are excellent and the sea life is amazing (especially in August). Special mention to the...More
