You need more than one day to do the island justice. Getting a selfie isn’t as easy as it sounds but you can get plenty of great photos. Watch out for all the cyclists as many of them have interesting interpretations of how you should...More

The island here has a unique and unmatched beauty and all the wildlife from the quokkas to osprey and New Zealand fur seals. I would definitely recommend a visit to this slice of heaven on Perth’s doorstep. The volunteers are good but it is a...More

I didn’t rent a bike from Rottness express so they redirected me to where I can rent a bike on the island after I asked. It was the best decision to see the whole island in 4 hours. The scenery changes so quickly. Some part...More

I went with my wife and 10 year old daughter. We hired bikes which was the best decision we made. You can take your time and stop where you want. There were Quokkas everywhere. Nice bays to stop for a swim. On the negative side,...More

Most people we spoke to got around and had a good look around the island. Sometimes they run a later boat, so if you check when you arrive you can opt for this but you need to check at the visitor section on the island.

Yes, there is a baby changing room just behind the Visitor Centre which is two minutes walk from the main jetty. There are no dedicated breastfeeding rooms on Rottnest that I am aware of.
