Located only 10mins off the main road between Manjimup-Walpole, worth a visit if you have some spare time. Not much water flowing in summer but there is a 'pool' downstream which was full. Also contains campsites & toilets Quite a pretty spot

The falls are around 4-5 km inland off the South Western highway on dirt roads so the question for all those in 2 WD vehicles is do we or don't we? Having done just that I would say yes but Fernhook is more interesting than...More

We visited Fernhook Falls on the way out from Mt Frankland. The road was in good condition and suitable for 2WD vehicles. From the bridge, the falls appeared somewhat underwhelming and we almost drove on without stopping. However, by turning off to the picnic area,...More

We made our way to the Fernhook falls from highway 1 (6 km down a dirt track) expecting to see very little water in the falls - it is the dry season after all. Well there was absolutely no water in the falls, albeit the...More

It was a lovely area but not worth a visit in a dry year. Check with the local information Center before going. It would be spectacular if it's been wet!
