As you head south from Walpole, get on Hilltop Road, a beautiful drive through the forest and the route to this giant fire-hollowed red tingle tree. When parked, take the Giant Tree Loop Walk, approx. 800m to enjoy a stroll, breathe the forest air, admire...More

Great walk around this amazing forest at the bottom of WA. Lots of plaques to read to understand the flora and fauna in the forest. Loved the giant Tingle tree. This is a must do if you are in either Denmark or Walpole

Road blocked. A tree fell right across about 2km before reaching the car park. Couldn’t get to iand had to u-turn. It’s about 8km drive through unpaved road. Don’t enter till the tree is removed

Stunning drive through the forest to reach the giant tingle tree. Unpaved but any car would be fine on it. Only a 400m or so walk to this magnificent ancient tree.

Nice walk around the trees. Nothing to hear but the wind and birds. Makes you realise how hard it was for the settlers and pioneers back then with only the basic tools and equipment.

A must do for people visiting southern Australia. Magnificent, huge tree’s, very tranquil setting in the mist and coolness of a WA winter.
