We have literally made this a family destination for over 17 years. My husband took me when we were newly married (I'm from NYC, he's from Perth), and we have made sure to take our kids back every year, while we are in the area visiting family. Feeding lambs, watching the dogs work, and walk on sheep, playing the jackaroo... More

If you are showing visitors from overseas around this area then put this place on your itinerary. It gives them a great insight into the wool industry from rounding up the sheep to shearing them. Steve will keep you entertained with his witty dialogue. Morning tea of aussie damper and tea is served and goes down well. There is also... More

We loved this place! The farmer is so informative and it is hugely interactive for kids of all ages - and the adults too! This is much more than just sheep shearing - you learn all about the rearing of the sheep, the wool making process, the sheep dogs at work and the little ones get to feed the lambs.... More

Steve the Shearer, your host, is a great character. Very charismatic. We enjoyed the show now with Grandpa and Grandma, just as much as we did 15 years ago with our children. A great insight into the working lives of a shearer, jackaroo, jilaroo, roustabout and wool classer/owner. The storys about the working dogs, the border collie and australian kelpie,... More

A very nice personal place, where you can feed the sheeps, watch a shearing show, something that most of us city dwellers will nenver have a chance to see! End show, you have a chance to feed baby lambs! Ohh.. they even show you on they herd sheeps...

The Yallingup Shearing Shed is well worth a visit if you are travelling in the Margaret River Region. The show is both informative and entertaining and the little lambs are just too precious! There are some gorgeous woolen products available for purchase from the shop.

Great tour, kids loved it (so did the adults), definitely recommend if you are in the area. The shop seems a bit overpriced though.

I took 2 families here as part of a day tour around the area. The service was great from beginning to end, the kids loved the presentation (as did the adults). The show was informative as well as entertaining and involved the kids. Very much worth the entry price, great way to spend an hour.

Great service; very friendly and helpful, didn't see a show but still got to feed the sheep. They sell amazing woollen items such as ugg boots.
