Whether you‘re looking for a day trip near Perth or a quick stop on your journey to the Pinnacles or further north, Yanchep National Park (just 45 minutes north of Perth city) provides you the opportunity to experience kangaroos, koalas, limestone caves and Aboriginal culture in a natural setting. Koalas kangaroos and lots of birds set in a beautiful open space. Great for young children as they can run about safely to their hearts content. Also friendly staff and a bar with a view of the kangaroos coming out to eat......magical day

We went with a tour. The lake is absolutely beautiful even on a bad day. You can see wild kangaroos and the koalas in the enclosure.

Do what the local do. Picnic , BBQ, while enjoying birds n ducks around u. Kangaroos, abundance. If time is not on your side, and you prefer to cover other bigger national park, skip this.
