After working in tourism I find some guides on tours can be a bit glib but Captain Joe was great - not only with the historical information but also imparting his views on NZ society. The coastline is stunning. Good boat . The wind was cold - go prepared for the cold.

We were excited for the Glass Bottom Boat tour, but the tour exceeded our expectations and made for a fantastic day on the beautiful waters of the Coramandel! Hi Smokin_Salmon_27 Thank you for coming out with us on the Glass Bottom Boat and writing this fantastic review. Our tour is perfect for families, the kids just love our glass panels and letting their imaginations run wild under the water. It is a hard time of the year to jump in the water, it has still not quite warmed... More

We had a great afternoon trip with Captain Joe out to Cathedrale Cove. He was very entertaining and gave interesting historical information. One of the guests lost the camera in the ocean and Joe got it out of the ice cold water. What a service!

We learnt all sorts of stuff about Whitianga, it's history and the geology of the land, we laughed a lot and really enjoyed Capt Joe's stories, and seeing the sea life in the marine reserve was very special. We were really glad we chose this adventure, and highly recommend it. Thanks heaps Capt Joe and team!

The glass bottom boat cruise Cap'n Joe took us on on Saturday morning was great and added to our knowledge and enjoyment of the beautiful Whitianga region. We loved seeing the schnapper and other marine life through the glass bottom of the boat. Fantasy island was a bonus! Great work Joe!
