My husband and I went the day after Labor Day. They did not charge the $18 fee. Signs everywhere said that swimming was prohibited but a lot of people were in the water...it was pretty calm that day. The Tiki Bar was also open but...More

Unfortunately, we were there on and on/off rainy day. But we did go to the beach to check it out, considering we just paid $18 to park. It’s nice on a grey day, so it must be great in a sunny day. We would definitely...More

Weekdays aren’t as bad as weekends. You can arrive later like late morning for example and parking lot is still open. I think it’s like $18. for non residents. We like to get there 10ish or just after to be on the safe side. One time we were turned away but it was a Sunday just after July 4th. You can Uber there too now which wasn’t allowed around there last summer.
