Overview
More
We are a working crop farm and environmental education center, with roots dating back to the 1600's. Today we act as a regional education hub offering programs on healthy and sustainable food production, skills for small-scale suburban and urban farmers, and sustainable living practices for local communities. The farm features demonstration models for backyard farming, animal management, rainwater harvesting, organic composting, and green-roof technology. Visitors are welcome to hike the farm's 3.5 miles of woodland trails, enjoy a picnic overlooking the property, and visit our chickens and goats. We hold numerous classes and lectures, offers seasonal CSA shares, and maintain a farm stand and U-Pick program during the growing season. We also offer guided tours, classes, and field trips for school groups, garden clubs, and scout troops. We are committed to donating 10% of annual vegetable production to local food pantries and warmly welcomes volunteers.

Hilltop Hanover offers fresh vegetables, fruits, local honey, baked goods, eggs and much more! My favorite stop is the farm stand on a Friday or Saturday. Beautiful grounds, hiking trails, programs and friendly people. A must go to!

Wow. Stop in to pick your own veggies and you will be amazed at how you go from shopping malls to feeling like you are on a far away farm somewhere else completely! Breath in the fresh air and enjoy!
