Always have loved coming here since I was a child. Some really great fishing spots and a good variety of fish to make it even better. Amazing views to just cruise around the lake and enjoy. Absolutely love coming here!

I really enjoyed my trip to Badin Lake. I rented a Kayak and went out to the Falls Reservoir to enjoy some time on the water. The water is calm in that area because there are not many boats around. Nice pleasant afternoon paddle. I...More

Just a wonderful night drive and vista at the lake. Watching the geese and night fishing was relaxing and very enjoyable. It's great to know places like this are available, such a simple time to share with a laid back quiet atmosphere.

This was a great getaway! Lots of close by nature-y things to do. Hiking, swimming, camping. You feel like you are away from the city but you aren't too far from shopping and restaurants

We passed Basin lake on the way to the Uwharrie National Forest! This lake is awesome! Great place to hangout and take in some prana! You can fish, have a picnic, or just enjoy the wind hitting the water! One of NC hidden treasures!

Beautiful very large lake in the Montgomery County area. Million $ homes, camp sights, numerous public ramps, scenic lake. Takes over an hour to do a full tour of the lake. Warm, deep in most parts. Swimmable. Beach at this address also.
