Mica Gallery is a cooperatively owned Gallery in the small town of Bakersville just outside of Spruce Pine, NC. They offer mostly pottery, but some textiles, jewelry and handmade cards, too. It is a favorite stop for us!

This is a shop that showcases the works of local artists - fiber arts, pottery, glass, paintings, the list of artists and pieces for sale is large, and the physical lay-out enhances them. The good lighting, decorative tin ceiling, attractive shelving and pedestals that display...More

Not quite as large as the Crimson Laurel, but more (different) local artists. I would really recommend going to both before you buy anything so you may wind up taking home a whole lot! Luckily they are right down the street from each other.
