Blowing Rock Brewery is a custom designed, state-of-the-art boutique brewing facility located in the heart of Blowing Rock. It is Blowing Rock's 1st brewery and has the capabilities to make both standard and high gravity ales and lagers. This brewery was specifically designed to bring modern, cutting-edge technology to a scale small enough for our team to give each brew the attention it deserves.

The brewing system includes a 5BBL mash/lauter tun, a 5 BBL direct fired brew kettle, a 15 BBL hot liquor tank, 2*5 BBL fermenters, 2*10 BBL fermenters, one 5 BBL and one 10BBL bright beer tank. This brewery incorporates new methods of equipment customization and energy efficient systems to assure better quality brews. This brewery has won awards and recognition for being one of the nicest breweries of its size, and for its ability to create fantastic representations of new and existing styles of beer.

The brews crafted here make up our Ale House Series and are sold on-site at our Blowing Rock Ale House Restaurant by the pint, growler and keg. Several of our Ale House Series beers are available at off-site at select locations as well.

Brewery tours are available on Saturdays from 1pm-5pm.

We didn't have time to tour the actual brewery or eat any food, so can't comment on that, but the 3 of us were able to sample a beer on draft. We each had something different and were pleased with our selection. The bar and dining area is a bit small, but there is a comfortable waiting area (if you're... More

Not my favorite! It was very small and crowded- we went to have a beer- sat at a table & were told we had to move & sit outside (it was pretty cold out) because the tables were only for people who were eating. I wasn't a huge fan of the beer either.

A great craft beer operation in the heart of Blowing Rock, which includes a tour-able brewery, a lively ale house/restaurant (that airs premier league matches at the bar), and even an inn! (... which is perfect if you plan to sample their whole selection of brews.) Moreover, the beers/ales are pretty good. I really liked the dark imperial stout.

Father and son outing with a Christmas gift certificate for a "brewery experience" made in early January was outstanding! We had the experience for two, so a couple of beers, a hat and a growler was the deal. Add to that some superb lunch and you've got a great afternoon. The beer is good no doubt, but the food was... I gave this place an average rating but our food was excellent and our service poor. There was a long wait even mid-afternoon for lunch. To their credit you can get a text when your table is ready so you can walk around while waiting. After being seated, it took quite some time to get waters and then to have... More

My wife and I were exploring Blowing Rock and we really enjoyed the Blowing Rock Brewery. It's small and a little cramped (especially the bar) but the service, craft beers and the lunch definitely made up for the small space. I had a grilled duck breast sandwich with apple slices that was excellent. My wife had some type of salad... More

We had dinner with friends at the Blowing Rock Brewery and had a great time! They gave us a private room with a fireplace since we had 8 in our party. We shared a few apps and tried several of the beers. The food was excellent along with the service. If you are ever in the area, this place is... More

Second visit & we have not been disappointed. It's a very small restaurant, so expect to wait but while you do, enjoy a cold beer from the even smaller bar! The black IPA and the double IPA are both very good. The pretzels appetizer with spicy mustard and beer cheese was very good. I had a Cuban & while I... More
