My family and I have used the Greenway trail for many, many years. We rode our bikes to the park, baseball practice and even town for pizza and ice cream. It used to be our favorite way to travel freely through Boone, however now it...More

This is a wonderful trail for both easy and adventurous. Great walk for dogs as well as people! The trails are either dirt, gravel or pavement. It has both shade and sunny trails.

It had been raining so we knew the trails would be very muddy so we walked The Greenway Trail. It was very nice - there were lots of people walking their dogs, young moms with strollers, etc. We enjoyed the picturesque bridges on the trail.

The main trail is paved blacktop, the bridges wooden. Wheelchair- and mobility-scooter-accessible. There are dirt trails also that might or might not work as well for these devices.
